Both bees and flies are trapped inside a glass bottle with its bottom facing the light. Bees are the smarter ones that by instinct they know that light mean the way to life. (Mind Blindness) The bees never know that there is glass in this world and therefore hitting themselves against the glass bottom trying to get out but didn’t …all ended up dying inside the bottle. The flies are dumber, they know nothing, so they just buzz around to try to get out and within half an half they all get out. This ministry is to coach the dying bees the concept of glass and where is the exit from their adversities. As a result, they can finally feel God's presence and experience intimacy with God.
I never know there is such thing in the world as Asperger, but I always feel there is a difference, which feels like an invisible wall between me and other people, which hinders quality and success of of the sufferer's life.
Asperger's Syndrome (AS) is not a new type of burger in McDonald. AS is revealed in autistic people by their deficiency. Aspies lacked empathy on socializing because their understanding of other people is basing on their own mind which is quite different from that of normal people. Due to referencing a wrong base in their thinking process caused mind-blindness (theory of mind impairments) which is a main cause for social deficit.
Asperger gives you a talent and unique qualities, with these benefits, it comes with a cost (social deficits, weak central coherence, one-track mind, difficulties in multi-tasking, weak sense of direction). This ministry is to maximize the benefits by identifying the talent, fully develop it which fulfills God's plan on the person's life, gives the person a sense of self-worth and also minimize the cost (social deficits) by social skills training through cognitive behaviour therapy. What a waste to society if we were to lose these talents and intelligence!
When God gives you a lemon, make lemonade. Ministry begins with vulnerability. God specializes in turning weaknesses into strengths. He wants to take your greatest weakness and transform it. God prefers to use your weaknesses than your strengths because strengths will make a person arrogant which breeds competition, while weaknesses humbles a person which builds community.
「弟兄們哪、可見你們蒙召的、按著肉體有智慧的不多、有能力的不多、有尊貴的也不多．神卻揀選了世上愚拙的、叫有智慧的羞愧．又揀選了世上軟弱的、叫那強壯的羞愧．神也揀選了世上卑賤的、被人厭惡的、以及那無有的、為要廢掉那有的．使一切有血氣的、在 神面前一個也不能自誇。但你們得在基督耶穌裡、是本乎 神、 神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖．」哥林多前書 1: 26-30
